Description
The integration into the resort starts from the northern plot, where the common functions (total of superstructure and basement: 1.411,33sqm) are located, organized in wedge-shaped structures, as large fragments carved in different points, defining recesses for entrance, circulation and natural lighting and ventilation. The dominant element in this first fragmentary field is the water that enters the recesses, penetrates them, activates them and finally unifies them. The descent of the entrance prepares the visitor by leading him on either side to the shells of the reception (162.45sqm), the concept store with offices (133.60sqm) and the wellness spaces diffused in nature in direct correlation with the liquid element, while at a lower level of carving the restaurant is located as a more submerged function within the plant mass, which encloses and intensifies the visual towards the forest. The entrance to the prism of the reception is achieved through a strong angled atrium, a transitional space that directs body and gaze and transports the visitor within the fragmentary shell, where visual contact with nature continues to be maintained, through the openings. On the opposite side is the shell that houses the concept store and office spaces, with the main outlet in the planted roof of the underlying gym (129.70sqm), along the linear water surface. In the basement of the above structures are the service rooms and storage areas (369.46sqm). Following on from the reception, this liquid element diffuses into the outdoor wellness spaces, defining the location and quality of the degraded fragments for relaxation, introspection and isolation in nature. The axial water surface ends, through an atrium, at the lowest level where all the restaurant spaces (206.45sqm with basement and ancillary spaces:409.67sqm) are developed in an underground structure, with ground carvings in the exterior space able to define the entrance and the seating and relaxation functions, around the wet core of the swimming pool, intensifying the relationship of interaction with all the elements of nature. In the southernmost plots, within the dense planting, three settlement groups evolve, which consist of organized structures-fragments accompanied by ground voids - atriums. The cubist tower-shaped fragments, the villas, are divided into three categories and all of them have subordinate atriums and external courtyards surrounded by planting. Each time at ground level, a stone fragment rests on the ground with a direct discharge to the courtyard and appears to recede to create underground habitation with a certain stepped rear patio. As the structure grows in height, it appears as if it was mined from the earth and carved in such a way that the two materials, the stone and the unpainted concrete of powdered dye-soaked oil paint, interact morphologically with anchoring relationships and volumetric attachments. All the viglas are characterized by the gesture of carving in their interiors, with multiple recesses in the perimeter walls, accommodating part of the main functions (bedroom, living room), but also auxiliary functions (bathroom, toilet, closet, mini bar). In particular, all the viglas in typologies A (142,90sqm), B (166,50sqm), C (297,50sqm), have in their basements a sleeping area, a sitting area in an alcove with the possibility of a bed, a bathroom and auxiliary uses, while they are set off in a certain courtyard-patio with the sitting area, the hot tub area and the plantings being developed in steps up to the level of the natural ground, with the possibility of external access. Nevertheless, within the envelope a circular scale is developed at all levels, unifying the circulations. The above levels locate loft and attic spaces with bedroom and living room uses, and a small bathroom loggia lined with a reflective surface on the exterior. More specifically, typology A, despite the internal scale, can be divided into two residential units: a. ground floor (40.40sqm) & basement (40.40sqm) and b. level A & B. The (a) module has on both levels all the two-day and overnight accommodation, a subordinate courtyard and the main courtyard, where the living room, the bbq with dining area and the swimming pool are located on different levels. Then the transition to level A (45.30sqm) is made by an external staircase that enters the common space for overnight stay and overnight stay, while on level B (16.80sqm) the courtyard condition is developed with the wet element in suspension. Parallel management is also available in typology B, with common access to the ground floor, while on level B the bedroom has a small courtyard without a hot tub. Finally, typology C is a coexistence of two volumes with an intermediate ground floor connection, where the basement has the same conditions (80,80sqm with a total of 6 beds), while the ground floor (85,90sqm) has the two-room areas (living room, kitchen, wc), with direct access to the external courtyard, on level A (90.40sqm) there are 2 bedrooms with bathroom and living room and on level B (40.40sqm), only one tower has a bedroom with a living room in the attic. All the dwellings are characterized by conditions of isolation, introversion, immersion, immersion of nature, floating, fragmentation and multiple readings of the landscape and although they seem disconnected, there are traces of unification with paths and airy threads / sunshades that symbolize the common union, the common desire to contact with nature and redefinition.
